Help Support Our Community Theatre
In order to provide the services described above, we depend on the community for the bulk of our support, both financial and staffing. While much of our income is from ticket and ad sales, these two alone are rarely enough to see us through a season by themselves. Therefore, we regularly have to supplement our income via corporate sponsorships, grants, profit sharing programs, and charitable donations from the community.
Sponsorship of a Birdcage Theatre production is a visible demonstration of your commitment to the cultural and economic development of our community. Choosing to sponsor a show can complement your company's marketing and community involvement strategies and provide a unique opportunity for employee or client entertainment. We are deeply grateful for the support of our Show Sponsors and are glad to recognize their support in the following ways:
Publicity Benefits: Season Brochure: Your business name and/or logo will be included in our season brochure.
Other Advertising: Your logo will also be included on our website.
Play Programs: A complimentary thank you advertisement will also be placed inside the program.
Curtain Speech: You will be thanked publicly for your support before every performance of your sponsored play.
Tickets: Reward yourself, clients or employees with complimentary tickets to the show you sponsor.

Our Theatre needs a new roof!
The Birdcage Theatre has been a cornerstone of our community since 1984, offering live performances and arts education that enrich the lives of many in Oroville. However, our beloved theatre is in urgent need of a new roof to continue serving our community. Over the years, we've patched leaks, but the time has come to address this issue once and for all. The cost to replace the roof is $220,000 and we need your help to make this happen. Your support will ensure that the Birdcage Theatre remains a vibrant space for creativity and connection.
