Youth Theater Program

The Birdcage Youth Theatre Program is a local, non-profit community theater education program dedicated to delivering quality live youth theater performances, presented and performed by young people from our own community.
We not only provide a valuable outlet to enjoy and participate in live theater and performing arts events in the community, but offer the chance for participating youth to obtain an education in acting, directing, set design, stage management, light/sound tech. While participants themselves do not qualify to become members of the theatre, their parents can choose to fill out a membership application and become volunteers as well!

Upcoming Youth Theatre Program Activities
The Birdcage Theatre is proud to announce it's upcoming Youth Theatre Program activities for the next season!

Our "Ink & Quills Playwriting Class" follows in early September, giving teen playwrights a chance to learn (or improve) their playwriting skills, with a chance of the final works being produced and acted out on stage at a future date!

Our Fall Semester Production of "The Wizard of Oz" (Youth edition) will begin in late September, with shows open to the public December 4th-6th!
If you have a student interested in participating in any of the activities, please fill out the form below, making sure to submit all requested information and choosing the "Program Interest" your student would like to attend.
Please note: If you are interested in multiple activities, you will need to submit the form once for each activity!
