The Rocky Horror Show - Auditions - 8/2

In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky."

Fran-N-Furter and his motley crew did the "Time Warp" on Broadway in a 25th anniversary revival. Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock 'n' roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever.

Expectations -

1. Pepare a song to sing that highlights your vocal ability. Please be able to explain why you chose the song, and how you feel it supports your audition.
2. Dress comfortably, you will be expected to learn 16 bars of choreography, and then perform the classic dance moves from the Time Warp!
3. We will have everyone read from various sids for any/all roles they are interested in. Feel free to come multiple nights if you would like to help read with other candidates.
4. If you receive a callback, you will also be expected to perform 30-60 seconds of one of the classic songs from The Rocky Horror Show. Can be any song, any character, just be prepared to act the part!
