The Husband Whisperer - Auditions

Kathy Lipski is a woman on a mission:  To make the perfect man. Though her quest isn't realized until the second act; Kathy's constant struggle with the battle of the bulge, leads the audience down a path of desperation and hilarious deception.  Kathy's bulge battle is heightened as her Bridzilla sister Susan's wedding fast approaches and Kathy must fit into a Matron-of Honor dress.  The play continues in comical real-life situations, and relationships.  As Kathy's  work-a holic husband, Harold is oblivious to Kathy's struggles, Kathy is tag-teamed and nagged; by her bridezilla sister, Susan, her oldest multi-divorced 'cougar' sister Claire and her nearly deaf mother.  After  Kathy discovers a flaw in her latest weight loss program, she realizes her dream of acquiring the perfect husband.  Kathy realizes her success in turning her once apathetic work-a-holic husband into a doting, love sick husband.  Her female family members notice the change and want to know Kathy's new secret to gaining a dream husband.  Kathy coyly reveals her secret, but of course with a price. In the end, The Husband Whisperer turns the matriarch, Alma into a Murderess, while the other women have succeeded in turning their men into the perfect mates.
